Porketta
Roast: Use boneless lean pork shoulder roast, butter flied
open, season well inside and outside. Oven: Wrap well in aluminum foil or put in cooking bag to keep all the juices in. Bake at 350 for about one hour per pound. Slow Cooker: Add about 1/2 cup of water. Cook on a setting according to how many hours you want it to cook. It should be cooked until it falls apart for shredding. The most popular way to serve Porketta is on French rolls or hard rolls. The seasoning is just as good on beef or chicken. Our consumers use it on all cuts of meats, for seasoning meatballs, meat loaf and spaghetti sauce. It is our largest selling seasoning.
